Spejderfrimærkeklubben i Danmark invites all collectors and friends of scout stamps collecting to participate in an International Scout Stamp Exhibition during the days 8 to 10 August 2014, in Taastrup, Denmark.
Taastrup is a suburb to Copenhagen (about 18 km. to the City) and placed in Høje-Taastrup Municipality. Address: Taastrup Kulturcenter, Poppel Allé 12, DK - 2630 Taastrup.
Exhibition:
- You will find interesting collections from many parts of the World at the Exhibition. The exhibition consists of 100 frames, each with 16 A4 pages = and a total of 1,600 pages.
- For the second time there will be an competition in the Walter Grob Award - one-frame (16 sheets) exhibits never shown before, and where the winner of the Walter-Grob-Award will get a prize of 500 CHF (Swiss Francs).
- Special exhibition - everything we know about the Second World Scout Jamboree 1924: Philately, Scout Uniform Badges, postcards, books etc.
- Trade- and exchange tables with Scout-philately, Scout Uniform badges and other Scout collectibles.
- Presentation of scout literature and exhibitions from Scout museums and private collectors.
